OPEN WORLDA 4 km² open voxel world to explore

The PESTBOUND map covers 4 km² of forests, quiet countryside, roads and abandoned settlements. Nature has started to take the streets back: gardens are overgrown, houses stand empty and every road leads somewhere you have not been yet.

You move through the world on foot or by vehicle, vault fences, cut across gardens and decide for yourself where to go next. There is no fixed path – the world is there to be explored at your own pace.

Exploring the open world

SCAVENGING & LOOTScavenge houses, sheds and supermarkets

Every house has something left. Search kitchens for tins of food, sheds for tools and shops for supplies. Weapons, ammunition, water and useful parts are scattered across the world, and what looks ordinary can be exactly what keeps you alive tomorrow.

Your equipment matters: a backpack, a lantern, the right tool. What you carry decides how far you can go and what you can take on.

  • Food and drinking water
  • Weapons and ammunition
  • Tools, lanterns and backpacks
  • Vehicle parts and building materials

HUNGER, THIRST & HEALTHHunger, thirst and treating your wounds

Survival in PESTBOUND does not stop when the shooting does. You need to eat and drink every day, and injuries have to be treated. Running low on food or water changes your plans – sometimes the most important trip of the day is the one to the next kitchen or the nearest water.

Hunger and eating

HUNTING, FISHING & COOKINGHunting, fishing and cooking by the fire

When the cupboards are empty, the land still feeds you. Cast a line at the water’s edge, follow tracks into the countryside to hunt, and prepare what you catch over a fire. A meal beside the fire is as much a part of PESTBOUND as any fight.

BASE BUILDINGBuild your own base in the open world

Gather materials and turn the supplies you find into a base that supports your survival. Choose your place, build it up and give tomorrow somewhere to begin.

Build alone and make every choice your own, or work with friends on a shared home. As you explore, hunt and scavenge, your base becomes part of the life you make in the world.

THE INFECTED & COMBATFight the infected – or find another way

The plague has left infected creatures roaming the world. The buildings are empty; the streets are not. Keep ammunition ready, watch your surroundings and choose when to engage.

Combat is about decisions: dodge an attack, fight back with firearms, or stay quiet and use a bow and stealth to avoid drawing attention. Sometimes the smartest choice is a different route.

  • Firearms and ammunition
  • Bow and stealth
  • Dodging and close encounters

VOXEL DESTRUCTIONA destructible voxel world

Because the entire world is built from voxels, the environment reacts. Cover can break, explosions leave debris, and a damaged wall can change an encounter. Where you take cover is a decision, not a guarantee.

VEHICLES & REPAIRSDrive, crash and repair vehicles

A working vehicle changes how you explore. Follow the roads, travel between settlements and reach new parts of the map. Vehicles have physics – and impacts have consequences.

Keeping a vehicle running is its own survival task: search the world for fuel, batteries, spark plugs and wheels, and repair what breaks.

  • Fuel cans
  • Vehicle batteries
  • Spark plugs
  • Off-road wheels

SOLO, CO-OP, PVE & PVPSolo, co-op with friends, PvE or PvP

PESTBOUND is an online world. Make your own way through it, or team up with friends to explore, gather supplies and build a base together. Bring different equipment, split up tasks and look out for each other when the infected close in.

On PvE servers you survive the world and its infected creatures with player-versus-player combat disabled. On PvP servers other survivors can become a threat – a chance meeting in a supermarket can end in trust, a surrender or a fight.
