What is in the guide
The field guide covers every item, container and vehicle, the wildlife and the infected, all crafting recipes and an interactive map with the named places. Search also finds German item names.
The guide describes the default server settings. A server’s own settings and an item’s condition can change what you experience.
Pictures
Item pictures are the game’s own inventory icons. Photos are screenshots from PESTBOUND. The satellite map is made of top-down pictures rendered by the game, the topographic map is drawn from the game’s own map data.
Map software
The interactive map uses Leaflet 1.9.4 – © 2010–2023 Volodymyr Agafonkin, © 2010–2011 CloudMade – under the BSD 2-Clause License. It is served from this website together with its licence text; the map makes no requests to other sites.
Reading the entries
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Size in inventory | The rectangle of slots the item takes up. |
| Weight | Weight of the item, or of one unit for items that stack. Contents add their own weight. |
| Storage slots | How many slots a bag, piece of clothing, container or vehicle adds, split into separate pockets. |
| Dots | A rating from one to five, compared with items of the same kind – firearms with firearms, food with food. |
| Rarity | How often the item turns up in the places where it can be found. |
| Loot level | How good the loot at a place on the map is, from 1 (basic) to 4 (best). |
