Three different resources
| Resource | What lowers it | How it recovers |
|---|---|---|
| Health | Hits, starvation, cold and disease | Slowly on its own – faster when you are well fed and have enough blood. |
| Blood | Bleeding and some attacks | Slowly on its own, or with saline or a blood transfusion. |
| Shock | Hits and low blood | On its own once you are safe. |
Losing too much blood kills you. When your shock runs out you are dazed (servers can change this).
Closing a wound
- Get out of danger and use a Bandage or Rag.
- One treatment closes one wound. Treat again if another wound is still bleeding.
- A bandage is quick and lasts for several uses. A rag is slower and can infect the wound.
- Disinfect a rag before you use it: drag Disinfectant Spray, Disinfectant Alcohol or Iodine Tincture onto it. A disinfected rag or a fresh bandage does not infect the wound.
- Eat and drink once the bleeding stops – hunger and thirst slow your recovery.
Head and torso wounds bleed the most, hands and feet the least. Treat wounds straight away.
Getting blood back
- Saline Bag (IV) restores blood and water over a few minutes.
- Blood Bag O− gives blood back faster.
- Without either, blood comes back slowly on its own – faster when you are fed and watered.
Broken legs
With a broken leg you can only limp and cannot sprint. A Splint supports the leg until it heals; morphine lets you walk normally for a short while.

Food, water & digestion
Half of what you eat or drink helps right away; the rest digests within about a minute.
Illness & treatment
Match the treatment to the problem. A pill is not a universal cure.
Weather, warmth & wetness
Clothing condition and wetness matter as much as finding shelter.
Gas masks & contamination
A mask needs a working filter. Leave the gas before treating yourself.
