Setting the trap

  1. Empty a Water Bottle and combine it with a blade to make a Small Fish Trap.
  2. Face water within reach and place the trap. Add a worm as bait.
  3. Walk away – at first, fish only go in when nobody is nearby. The trap needs a while to start working and stays active for a limited time.
  4. Come back and pick it up: the trap and its catch go into your inventory.

What you catch

Traps catch Sardines (Fresh) at sea and Bitterlings in fresh water.
